Doctors for Peace collaborates internationally with various partners to promote cooperation projects, operating mainly in Southeast Asia, Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. In Italy, since 2006, it has been collaborating with local authorities to improve the social and health conditions of marginalized groups in the area. In addition, it carries out awareness-raising and solidarity education activities, financing its interventions through fundraising.
Founded in 2002 on the initiative of a group of doctors and nurses, Doctors for Peace now has more than 40 volunteers involved in various activities. What unites us is the desire to contribute, each in our own way, to guaranteeing the universal right to health.
