Activities
Doctors for Peace has supported the international initiative “technical and financial support to the Surabhi Pharmacy” in collaboration with the Women’s Foundation, for the creation of a pharmaceutical dispensary in the Surabhi area, south of the Nepalese capital.
Doctors for Peace purchased basic necessities and medicines and incurred the logistical-administrative expenses necessary for the operation of the community pharmacy and the remuneration of a pharmacist and two new collaborators, for one year of service. The project has made it possible to make medicines accessible at a fair price; to carry out an action of education and prevention; to promote the overall health of the community.
