Doctors for Peace, with the contribution of the 8th District of the Municipality of Verona, offers from the beginning of October a cycle of free music therapy workshops aimed at people over 60, suffering from cognitive impairment or Alzheimer’s.
The intervention
Doctors for Peace has found that an environment rich in cognitive, motor and social stimuli delays the aging processes and favors those mechanisms of neuroplasticity so decisive in the functioning of brain structures. Among these, music therapy is considered an excellent tool to stimulate creativity and socialization.
