The collaboration between the Civic Museum of Natural History of Verona and Doctors for Peace ODV, born in 2024 to combine scientific research, biodiversity protection and international cooperation, continues for another three years.
The agreement combines the Museum’s expertise in research and conservation with Doctors for Peace’s experience in supporting the most vulnerable communities.
Among the planned activities are projects in developing countries, studies on biodiversity and traditional local knowledge, as well as field missions to collect data and samples useful for research and sustainable development projects.
This protocol includes, for example, the project underway in Ecuador in its component of entomological research and study of the traditional eating habits of the Shuar and Achuar populations.
A shared commitment to promote new research and intervention opportunities in support of communities and biodiversity.
