After two very intense years, the “Mujer Campesina” project has come to an end, thanks to which we have worked together with our partner Fundación Atasim to improve the living conditions of the peasant and indigenous communities of the Ecuadorian Amazon.
The project has allowed us to contribute to strengthening the food security of communities thanks to the technical training of 215 women on sustainable and climate-resilient agriculture. At the same time, we have improved their market access opportunities, diversifying household sources of income. For the entire duration of the project, we also held information meetings on the issues of prevention, health, healthy eating.
Heartfelt thanks to Fundación Atasim for putting a great deal of effort into making this project a reality, but above all thanks to all the families involved in the activities for having learned and taught us all a lot in these two beautiful years.
This project was carried out thanks to the 8×1000 funds of the IRPEF directly managed by the State.
