Doctors for Peace launches a fundraiser to guarantee medical care and prevention services to protect the health of people in a serious state of marginality. And it does so through the solidarity sale of the very warm Nepalese scarf “Maya”, available in 41 different colors .
By joining the initiative, it will be possible to contribute to offering social and health services to those who do not have the opportunity to access them, both in the Verona area and in other countries around the world such as Nepal, Ecuador and Guatemala.
Maya scarves are handmade from yak wool and can be found:
- at the headquarters of the association in via Montorio 43 from Monday to Thursday 9.30 am – 5.00 pm;
- at the Libreria Pagina Dodici in Corte Sgarzarie, 6/a;
and on the occasion of the following outdoor events:
- Sunday 24 and Friday 29 November from 14.00 to 18.00, at the Christmas Markets in via Pallone
- Friday 13 December from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm, at the solidarity stall of Doctors for Peace in Corso Porta Borsari
- Sunday 15 December from 10.00 to 18.00, at the BeeMy Market in Via Marconi 8 in Colognola ai Colli.
