We are now nearing the end of a project that has brought really important results to our territory.The “Community Inclusive Medicine” project has allowed us, this year, to offer free first medical attention and prevention services to all those people who live in conditions of serious marginality and do not have access to the National Health Service.
The Medical Post, set up inside the Canteen of the Friars of San Bernardino and regularly manned by a group of doctors, nurses and nurses volunteers of Doctors for Peace, has become a point of reference and help for many homeless people living in Verona.
This project, however, does not end here: we are happy to announce that it will be able to continue throughout next year thanks to the renewed support of the Otto per mille funds of the Waldensian Table!For more information, read our project sheet.
