Since 2013, the project has been offering qualified dental services to marginalized people or people in conditions of extreme poverty, for whom the lack of oral hygiene is often the cause of dental diseases.

The goal is to prevent these pathologies, offering dental care and educating about oral hygiene.

Thanks to the work of volunteer dentists, free visits are offered, preceded by screenings that evaluate priorities and type of intervention. The beneficiaries are accompanied to the dental office by Doctors for Peace volunteers who guarantee a correct doctor-patient relationship.

The project was funded by the CSV Verona in the two-year period 2013-2014, by the Waldensian Table in 2017, the Giorgio Zanotto Foundation and the Veronese Community Foundation in 2019, 8×1000 of the Italian Buddhist Union – UBI and the Giorgio Zanotto Foundation in 2020, and the Foundation of the Verona Community and the 8×1000 of the Evangelical Baptist Christian Union of Italy in 2021 and 2022. In 2023 and 2024, the project is supported by the Foundation of the Veronese Community.
